Hello from icy Norway!
Acquired my 1984 XJS in November 2014 from Edinburgh, Scotland. As I just managed to drive her home to Sandvika close to Oslo before winter struck, the car is taxed into Norway but not yet on Norwegian plates.
The car drove well from Edinburgh to Sandvika (with a pause on the boat from Hull to Gothenburg), so hopefully it should honour its recent MOT. The overall condition could be characterized as a fairly nice driver. My intention is to keep it that way and to make sure that the small imperfections here and there can be fixed in due time - several minor electrical issues, a seam on the passenger seat, wiper self-parking, etc.
I surely look forward to the spring taking away the compact ice in the driveway, and the snow/slush/salt on the roads in the area so that the car can be inspected and granted Norwegian licence plates.

How easy/difficult is it to import and re-register a vehicle to Norway? Members importing Jaguars from UK to Germany have found it easy but France is very bureaucratic.
