Welcome to the forum,

Plenty of info and advice on XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum section.

Today must be the second day this year you've been able to put the hood down in Edinburgh.

Default Yes the sun is out

Hi Graham yes it is the second day I've had the hood down in sunny Edinburgh .....The roof was a bit slow at first but after a bit of exercise it's working just fine, got to be expected as the cars been off the road for 6 months.

You've been lucky if a slow roof is the only issue after hibernation. Many members report all kinds of electrical issues with the XK8 after winter storage that year round users like me never see.
