Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've now found your way to the X308 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Northeast Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northeast-35/ to find other members in your region.

Welcome to the forum, Larryg! I'm just s shade tree mechanic, so I'd rely more heavily on the pros in this forum, but what you describe could be a lot of things. Since you've already done the fuel pump (and I'm assuming the filter as well), then it might be your cat converters(s), a clogged air filter, clogged exhaust, O2 sensor, timing belt, faulty plug(s), dirty throttle body, and the list goes on. In a nutshell, you need proper air, fuel, and spark to accelerate - isolate the problem by eliminating the possible causes one at a time.
