Hello from London, England.
Hello,
I’m soon going to be starting my 4.2 XJ6 Coupe for the first time in 31 years, so that’s going to be fun!
We bought it new in 1977 and in its first 11 years clocked up a little over 11,000 miles. Since then it’s sat in the garage and it's still done 11,000 miles. Now, it’s time to fill the tanks and turn the cranks.
I’m sure the last 31 years have taken more of a toll on the car than the previous 11, so I’m going to be taking it easy getting things back to normal.

Welcome to the forums Me From London,
Good to have you with us. A one owner low mileage Coupe is a very desireable and increasingly valuable model.
Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...s-i-ii-iii-16/ to the XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums and good luck with the resurrection.
Graham
