Hi everyone,

I'm looking to purchase my first Jaguar and I have been lurking around for a couple months absorbing as much info as I can. Right now, I'm between the s type R and the XkR 2000-2004ish. I figured it's time to make an account and say hi.



My first question is to ask about mechanics, is there anyone who can refer me to some reliable Jag mechanics in the Los Angeles area? There has to be at least a couple seeing how massive Los Angeles is! Also, what is the best way to go about finding a Jag mechanic to check out cars prior to purchase?

Thanks for the welcome. Ah I have been lurking, but haven't got into everything, there is so much to read. Most of the reading I've been doing is about the ins and outs of the models, I haven't seen any stickies about mechanics yet. But I will look!
