Short intro about myself.. I'm from Seattle, WA but relocated to Atlanta in 05.. I bought my 2001 S-Type in 06 and had no problems up until around 128k miles and over the last year I have had nothing but small little problems with this car.. I LOVE jags, but I think next year I'm getting a new one...



I have a 2001 Jaguar s-type 3.0 and my hood will not open. it was working fine yesterday, and just all of the sudden stopped working!

It pops it with the lever, but only the driver side of hood comes up, but the passenger side is still locked. I can pull the driver’s side of the hood up just enough to pull on the latch while someone is pulling the lever and it still won’t open.

I need to get my hood open to put coolant in. it was very very very low and it just so happens that the day I get ready to put coolant in my coolant tank, I cant open the hood... I hope I have better luck in 2012..
