Hey all, I have a 2002 X Type that has been with us for nearly 10 years. At over 130,000 miles she has been a blast in the snow and a pretty reliable ride. I had thought to pass it along to the kids when they got their driver's licenses, but I'm feeling a little possessive now that the time has come.
I found your forum and the wealth of knowledge it has and look forward to poking through it to see what nuggets of gold I can uncover.

You know, don't you, that once you give your Kittie to your kids, they won't care for it like you have, and you'll always be able to see what's not being done. Not only that, you lose a bit of control what happens to it.
