Hello everyone!
I'm new to the forum. Just purchased my first Jag...and 02 x-type 2.5L Sport. I bought the car knowing it needed a new clutch (wow was that a fun one). Now that I have it back I'm finding many smaller issues. This weekend I removed the front bumper to access the headlights (adjusters broken). I also had an overheating issue and found a hole in the radiator. Right now the car has its front removed and is minus the radiator!
I like the car but it needs some love. I also hear a screaching noise coming from what appears to be the wheels when driving. I haven't dug into this yet but my initial guess is wheel bearings.
I am now trying to find a radiator (or possibly repair my current one if possible as the break is in the plastic side, not the aluminum core).
I'm trying to gather info on the headlights but I'm not sure what to do. These little plastic adjusters are a mess and I'm not spending $1000 on new assemblies!

take a look in the S Type section for a headlight fix, I'm not sure if it's the same, but worth a shufty.

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

I am going to try and get the radiator back in this afternoon and am having the front bumper cover repainted so she will look new again! One of these days I will actually drive this car.

I've been following your headlight saga in the X-Type section. Careful with that cooking!

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature. Go to User CP button on the left of the black menu bar. Select Settings & Options then Edit Signature. That takes you to the dialogue box to enter your details.
