Hello, New 2004 XJ8 Owner
Well, I took the plunge and recently purchased a 2004 XJ8 with 35K miles, after driving reliable but mundane US sedans for 20 years. I have always admired Jaguars and was impressed with the 2004 redesign using aluminum for the frame and sheet metal.
I love the car, it has brought excitement back to driving!
I now look forward to the daily commute. Excellent power and handling combined with good gas mileage. The interior is great. I have had some minor issues, this forum has already been of great help.

Welcome DeSoto, beautiful XJ you got yourself. It sure makes getting up and going to the office a little more tolerable, eh? And, all of a sudden, you get 'nominated' to drive to lunch more as well. Am i correct?
