Default Hello from New England

Hello, Jack here from Mystic CT. Like a lot of you, always wanted a Jag, had a Jaguar Fund jar for loose change everyday. Just sold the boat I have owned since new 13 years ago, and the truck I used to tow it. Wanted something , smaller, with four doors but still a little "sporty" getting better than the 10 MPG my truck got. Found a super clean 2003 X Type that has spent it's entire life in South Florida. I am a little apprehensive about what lays ahead maintenance wise, but I did own a Lotus Europa for 20 years so I think I'm up to most challenges that lay ahead. I have been following the forums for a while before signing up, sounds like a nice helpful group and am happy to be here!

Jack

Welcome to the forum Jack,

Owned a Lotus for twenty years. After that experience, the X-Type should hold no fears.

Follow Steve's link to the X-Type section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham
