Hello from Norfolk
Morning all Jaguar enthusiasts.
After years of wanting one, I found a lovely 1997 Jaguar XJ 3.2 executive auto with just 50k on the clock.
I bought it as an everyday car and in two years have added 60k to the total.
Car has not let me down very often, despite its age, until now, with the posts I have put on the forum.
Thanks to everyone who has provided answers to the question. I am trying all of them to see if it cures the problem.

I can see you've already found your way to the X300 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
