Default Hello from Northern Ireland

Hello everyone,
Just a brief hi to everyone and a big thank you in advance for any assistance offered and given, as I know I'm going to need to request a little help from time to time !
I've just bought myself a very clean and sexy 'S' Type of the 2000 generation on V6. Oh such a smile she brings !!
A few niggles when I bought her but most were sorted quickly. One still remains with what I think is worn vacuum pipes affecting a fast idle which slows after a few seconds !
I got back from Seville today though after a few days away (a beautiful city just to add), and the 'S' type seems to have suddenly developed (whilst sitting), a very hard misfire I think. On brisk acceleration you would nearly think you were in a washing machine !!! I'll probably post something in 'Help' but if anybody has an idea, it would be very appreciated !! She's fine when cruising !
Anyway, as I say a big hello from Northern Ireland.

Welcome to the forum GlynGee,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Follow Norri's link in post #2 to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.
