Hello from the Philippines
Hello All!
My first post here. I’m the very happy owner of a 1967 S1 / 4.2l fhc. Its my very first Jag, and have not owned anything more than a humble Porsche 914 in the past, and an equally humble 924.
This E-type was just an inheritance from my dearly departed father from a couple of years back. He used to drive it when he was alive, and always said it would be mine someday.
Unfortunately, he forgot to turn on the fan switch, which is a killer in these tropics… But finally, i got the engine overhauled.
Upon examination, i discovered a few irregularities with the braking system and cooling system. Electrics need some work as well.
