Default Hello from Sunny (and HOT) Phoenix AZ

Hello all.
My name is Dean and I live in Glendale, Arizona. I am getting ready to embark on a ground up resto of a 1962 e-type roadster. My uncle owns the car and will be footing the bill, so it should be quite fun. I have done a few American muscle car type resto mods, and Ive been building and playing with cars most of my adult life. This will be my first British car, but one I get past the Tyre, bonnet, etc, I think I will be fine. However, I will be looking to this site (and others) to help me through.
My uncle bought the car used in 1963 and has owned it ever since, however, it hasn't been on the road since 1983. It is a very complete car with no rust or major body damage. it has been re-painted once, in a non standard color, but will be returned to its original silver/grey and red leather interior.

Hello, Dean,
It's always fun to do a resto with someone else's money! You'll be the envy of many here.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Dean,

There's always huge interest in E-Types on the forum even from those who have never owned one. A restoration project thread from you in the E-Type forum will be popular.

Graham
