Smile hello from Victoria, BC, Canada

Just finished putting a 97 XJR6 into a 64 MK2, took the floorpan of the xjr and shortened it by 51/2", shortened the front and rear suspension by 3", used XJ40 lower trailing arms at the back because X300 are cast and were not able to shorten. Finished car has all xjr running gear, airbags, power windows, seat belts, locks, air, modules, wiring etc. used xjr wiper motor married to modified XJS linkage, used xk8 expansion tank for access as xjr tank filler hidden. Used xj6 series 1 air intake (chromed) and xj6 arm rest and pockets. xjr seats, rear modified slightly and a custom dash. I did all the work myself except for final paint and some upholstery. I am a fabricator and machinist and it took about 4000 hours.
Next is to upgrade the supercharger to M112 from M90, just bought one of an s type r.
this is a great site with lots of great info
