Introduction - purchased my first Jaguar in May this year, a 2013 XF Sportbrake 3.0D S version. Lovely car - not given me any problems so far (fingers crossed).
Carried out a few jobs, including new discs/pads all round - repainted calipers and made a little mod to the rear calipers (to add the XFR type plate). Had the wheels refurbished and sorted out an annoying issue with the front bumper (where it had been painted behind the black grille). Car has been re-mapped and drives beautifully. Best purchase so far is the iCarsoft LR V2.0 - great peace of mind and nice to be able to see that the DPF is working and regenerating correctly. Need to sort an issue with the passenger door lock intermittent operation, but apart from that all good!
Not long after purchasing the XF, I then bought a XK8 4.2S in need of some TLC. This is ongoing, but so far have had her resprayed (including quite a bit of welding), wheels refurbished, with an interior refresh currently ongoing. Car drives fantastic and the engine sounds superb. Quite a few things to do with this car - but enjoying every minute!
Hope to be of help to others on here at some stage!
I live in Rugby, Warwickshire - so also hoping to go the Breakfast Club meeting at some point soon.
