Welcome to the forum 'oldone' for a tech question you will be better off posting into the XJ6 section. There are some great members that hang out there who will be able to help you.

Sounds like it might be part of the vapour recovery system, but I doubt that it should leak.

Welcome to the forum Oldone,

Yes, please ask over on the XJ6 section, dripping fuel sounds like something you would want to get fixed quickly.

Oldone78:
Congrats on your acquisition and a hearty Wisconsin welcome to the forum. The series II folks will be very helpful in figuring out your drip. My '91 also has a canister, and all that I can say is that it is supposed to deal with vapors, not liquids. Hmmm...

See you on the road!
Scott
