Thank you for the welcome.
I bought my 1st Jag last year after years of driving Hot Hatches, GSI Opel Astra Turbo was the most fun to drive until I had kidney stones & the car's suspension kicked my kidneys to bits every time I drove it (Nothing to do with I’m 45 lol). I borrowed my brothers S-Type & could not believe what I was missing all these years (Comfort & Joy) So the GSI went straight up for sale & I bought the 2ltr X-Type V6 Sport (should of bought the 3ltr) I can now visit my family in Scotland & not dread the journey LOL. Found this forum while looking up new head lights for the Jag & found the help & knowledge on this form are second to none.

Thank you again for the Welcome

Frank.

Thank you for the Welcome. Lincolnshire is on the East Coast of England, I live in a small Steel Town called S****horpe (The one with the swear word in it ).
Keep asking the questions & I will soon hit the 10 post mark without resorting to spamming lol

Hey blu3, welcome to the site frank...good to have you with us!
X type is a great car, one I used to own....you're right though, the 3.0 would have been better.......maybe a swap coming soon?
I know S****horpe fairly well, used to visit the steel works there for many years and supply parts to Multiserv and Tarmac on site. Aslo visited Lincoln itself many times to see a few customers there and also in Grantham.
Please, please post as much and as often as you like....genuine posts of any description are not considered spam here. In the meantime I've manually upgraded you to full fofum access...enjoy

Hi Jim
I have worked in the Steel industry for near on 30yrs now. And as you will know from firsthand experience the only fun you can have in Sunny Scunny is to jump in the Jag & hit the M180 & get out of town at the first opportunity. I travel to Scotland (Arbroath – Dundee) every year to see the clan, and then head off to the West Coast with the Mrs for a well earned break from shift work.
So if you need any steel I’m your man LOL

Blu3 AKA Frank

Hello, BLU3!

I'm kinda the opposite when it comes to stones. Taking out one of my Harleys helped to shake the stone loose the first time. The second time, I had my wife beat me in the kidney area while I had my body angled downward from the couch. I think the Harley was more fun tho' my wife would probably think otherwise.

In either case, shaking them out pissed off the urologist.

My stones were stuck & blocking my ureters (Pain) the swelling was so severe they did not show up on the x-ray & led the Doctors to believe I had a tumour? 3 months later after countless tests they operated??? That was two years ago. And as we speak their back with a vengeance. So back into hospital next week for a stent and p*ssing blood for a week should see me right again. The best thing that has come out of all this, I dumped the sports cars after using my brothers Jag. And went straight out & bought one. Comfort & Joy, all’s well that ends well as they say.
