Default 95 xj6,whinning noise rearend, UPDATED!!!!!!!!!

Ok,guys, whining/humming nosie in rearend turned out to be bearing going out on drivers side. The Race/cup all tornup, galling, rollors all beat to heck, the "kicker" was the shimm( theres a spacer and shim ) on each side was made from a piece of pipe,,, hellooo!!!!!!!! geeezzzzzzz was all egg shape, i had the bearing replaced at 110k (wont tell you what that cost me back in 2007, yikesss!!) now have 190k.
Now when you replace thes shimms you got to do all the math too get the right thickness or you run the chance of over tightening the nut if too small and put too much pressure on the bearings or too big you got too much float play, and wheel movement, got to torque the axleshaft-to hub between 221-236ft-lbs /(300-330)(N.m) and the fulcrum shaft 63-77 (32-40).
Shimm's only available from jaguar and they have listed 20 different thickness, so the new one on driver side came out to be 3.17mm and the passenger side 2.95mm which was still in good shape, but since the car was up on the stands i did both side, now i got all new bearings
I know a little long winded here, but trying to give some details. Ok my mechanic had 6 hours in the job
