Just aquired my first Jag - 1998 XJ8 which appears to have a hub assembly problem and missing owner's manual. Look forward to interacting with you all and reading your posts!

Always nice to welcome a fellow Nebraskan. Welcome to the forum. You will find lots of good information and nice people here. Have a look around. You will probably find that many questions you may have, have already been answered. But, if not, don't be afraid to ask. There are many knowledgable owners here as well as quite a few Jag techs.

Have fun and enjoy!!!!

Hi soprecious! Welcome!

I joined about a year ago after buying my first Jaguar. A 1998 XJ8 with a broken secondary tensioner and chain. These forums are the best single source of information for my Jaguar needs. The members are glad to help and very knowledgeable.

I got that Jag running and sold it. I just bought a 2001 XJ8 with a broken tensioner and chain and it was easy to get going again due to my previous experience.

I'm sure you will enjoy the interaction and find the information here second to none. You'll get your hub answers here or you can share your repair story.

Best of luck.

Welcome to the forum soprecious,

Follow Norri's link to the X308 section for help, advice and information. If you can't find the answer to your hub issue, that's the place to post your tech questions. The HOW TO section at the top of the threads there is a good place to start looking.

Enjoy the XJ8 and the forum.

Graham
