Default Hey y'all

Hi guys, my name is Justin and I have a 1988 Jaguar xj6. I just got it last summer from my uncle. It needs a LOT of work, but it gets me to and from school so I'm more than pleased with it. I've only had trucks before this car so it's a bit different from what I'm used to, but I like it so far. My parents have a 2002 Mustang GT, and I would rather drive this car any day over the 'Stang. I have a ton of questions, but the first one is where to post questions about my car? I noticed that there wasn't a specific forum for my year and model car.

Welcome to Jag ownership, Justin! You're right, there doesn't appear to be a specific forum for XJ6 after 1987 (the end of the 3 Series). But if I were you, the XJ6/XJ12 forum is where I would post my questions. Just make sure you include the year of your car in your questions.

Good luck!

Ray

Welcome Justin pretty much either the XJ6 or XJ40 forums will give you the answers you need. (after all our old friend Haynes, lists Oct 86 to Sept 94 in one book). But if you are really clever you could try the line between the two:-)

The great guys in the older XJ sections tend to cover all 3 sections.

See ya in there.
