Hi
Hi I have a 1960 MK11 and a beautiful 1991 XJ 40 84000Ks 3rd owner. My Mk 11 ha a starter motor problem. have released bolts but cannot find a way to remove. space?? any suggestions??
Welcome.
Its been a loooooooong time, but I seem to remember on my S Type 3.4 that there was a panel on the side of the trans tunnel to access the nuts on that "hoop" bolt arrangement, and then the starter "fell" out the bottom??????.
OR,
Did I have the oil filter off, and slid the starter forward and out, really don't remember 100%.
The members in the MK2 etc section will know.
