Default Hi All

I'm Rick and live in Scotland UK.

I'm here to basicly find out why diesel X-Types are so cheap to buy when they look like such a great deal.

My wife is looking for a car and has her mind set on a Ford Focus. I, on the other hand, would like something that turns me on as well and have always wanted a Jag so I'm working to persuade her that a diesel X-Type would be a great option.

My problem is that she wants to know why, if Jags are such terrific cars, we can buy one for less than an equivilent aged Ford. I'm afraid I can't answer that.

So help me out please and make my Jag ownership dream a reality.

Please bear in mind that if I buy a dud she'll never let me forget it.

Welcome to the forum Rick,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the X-Type tech section so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK Region forum by following this link UK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in this country.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Allow me to introduce my Jag.

Hi All-jag.jpeg

It's a 2004 X-Type 2.0D SE and it's beautiful.

Yes I won, but she loves it so much I'm not sure if I'll ever get to drive it.
