Default Hi All,

Hi all,

Thought we'd join up to these forums as we pick up our new Jaguar x-type this Saturday.

It's a metallic Green 2.2l Diesel SE, manufactured in 2007. 32,000 miles on the clock, with sat/nav, cd changer etc.. etc.. full leather interior.

First time as a jag owner and were really looking forward to it.

Just a quick note does anyone know if the CD player plays Copied CD's of mp3's.

Cheers

Only a couple days to wait. How exciting. Welcome. I've played copied CD's. Dang, I've just admitted to having copied CD's.

Congrats on the 2.2d X type....X is a great car and the 2.2 d is quite quick and still offers great economy too....good choice.
I'm guessin you should be fine on the CD copies as I never had any trouble with my (02) X type

hi, weird that john and bron,
i've only had mine 3 weeks and it was one of the first questions i asked as well.(on the uk forum)
it does play copied cd's but not mps's.
a little tip also, when changing from one disk to the other, always press pause first. it stops you getting a cdc error message on your console.
