Hi all from Auckland
Dear Jag owners,
I've owned my '84 Sovereign for five years going on six, and been a member of the forum for over a year now - but I haven't taken the time to introduce myself and say hello! Apologies for my rudeness.
My name is Jeremy and I'm one of the directors of Witch by Eloise (a fresh, low volume NZ owned/operated fashion brand), the CEO of Team Jensen Racing NZ (our latest venture, where we race a pair of Alfa GTV6 TB's
), the director of Siguili Custom Shoes (low volume, custom designed dress shoes for men and women), the NZ distributor of Leatherique leather products (personally highly recommended especially for the older Jags - the rejuvenator oil is my favourite product for dried out leather), and a second year psychology student in Auckland University.
I first got into Jags when I was just starting out as a learner driver, when I was overtaken at speed by an E-type. I couldn't quite justify the purchase cost of the E-type, but was equally captivated by the gorgeous shape of the series 3 XJ series - In my opinion, the design is well balanced between surface tension and fluid lines, with the body looking taut but still relaxed.
Thus far, the Jag has had much mechanical work done to her - too much to list here. Very soon, I plan to completely strip down, dip and respray the body in the original colour (sapphire blue), do a general tidy-up of the electrics, and a complete restoration of the interior.
So that's me and my Jag. I've found the forum to be very helpful and I'd like to thank you all for making it what it is.
PS. If any of you have an idea for a business but have no idea how to bring it to reality or are simply looking for a business partner, feel free to PM me

Hello jcgtveloce,
Nice mix of interests and best of luck with Team Jensen. I've often seen the wonderful ralleys in NZ and hope to one day participate.
