Jag lover in New Zealand
Hi folks!
I'm in Auckland, New Zealand. Have been an english car fan for more years than I care to count. My last 6 cars were
1986 Jaguar XJ6 Series III - claret
1996 Jaguar XK8 - topaz gold
1999 Jaguar XJ8 Sovereign 4L V8 - dark blue
1988 Bentley Turbo R - british racing green
1982 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit - ice green
2006 Jaguar XJ8 Sovereign - 4.2L supercharged V8 - 400hp - white onyx
The Rolls was hit from behind on our harbour bridge by an uninsured clown at 80kph )50mph) managing to write off his, mine and the car in front of me. Thankfully my insurer paid out quickly and, having got over my "Rolls fix", I have returned to the fold, now enjoying my "new to me" 06' 400hp beast of a Jag Sovereign. I believe in the USA they are known as the XJ Super.
I own my own website company here, and love travelling with my lovely lady around the pacific islands and surrounds when time allows. Also we have a 35ft game launch that I use to fish and relax around the wonderful gulf around Auckland.
I am ex RNZN, and will be marching at our ANZAC day parade this Saturday 25th April. I did severaql trips while in our Navy, including one memorable commission to Hawaii (Pearl Harbour) and the full west coast of the USA and Canada.
My 2 youngest daughters are at university and the youngest is in her last year of high school, so time to enjoy our dotage, at the tender age of 58 :-P
I love my latest XJ8, she's stunning in performance, comfort, and looks!
Obligatory photos follow.

After being a member for more than six years you won't need any links to the tech or Region forums from me!
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
