Hello everyone. Neither slight nor disrespect intended, but I confess to joining the forum quite some time ago and only now attending to manners and discovering the welcome thread. I am truly sorry. After dreaming of out-of-reach Jags as a teenager....I finally acquired an '03 S-Type 3.0L in late 2008 .....for my daughter. This went over so well, a year later, my wife bought herself an '05 S-Type 3.0L. For me, although the S-types are fine cars, they seem a bit cramped on the interior. I did my research and determined the X300 was the proper fit for me. In late August, I found a gem on this very forum, 1995 Vanden Plas, black on gray, 63K mi, outstanding condition inside and out.

So here I sit in Decatur, Tx, supporting 3 Jags, aged 5-15 yrs. (and they thought I was crazy when we decided to have five kids?!?) and to be honest....wouldn't mind a fourth! Although the 2003 S-Type is out-of-state for the next several years while one daughter is at University.
