Default hi everybody

hi, my name's EVRARD, i come from france and i join you after re started a Jaguar mkII project. I hope found here open minded jaguar fan. I own jaguar since 20 years ago, with 3 Daimler Saloon V8. few years ago i buy a D-Type replica and today i want to restore one of my Daimler (only one is actually running)
Perhaps i make a mistake but i want to swap the small V8 and put engine younger. To do that i need help, idea and skilled people (state of mind in france is really restricted when we want to modify old car..)
I hope i will share interesting thing here
regards

Post oldharleyguy

Hi! I am Steve Williams. I bought my wife a one-owner 1997 XK8 blue Coupe about a year and a half ago, It is in unbelievably good shape and she absolutely loves it. I joined this forum and Jag-lovers forum to get help with a couple of problems we have had; response was great! I am an old shade tree mechanic and helped "sup up" race cars for five older brothers. I finally got successful download and install of JTIS and think it will be a great help. I have worked on computer systems for 30+ years and am comfortable with lots (not all!) of what is in JTIS. If i can ever be of help to anyone on problems, I will certainly take the time to do it (pass it on!). Later, I will post some pictures of my wife's dream car - I very rarely even get to drive it.
Regards

Bienvenue au forum. You will find lots of open minded enthusiasts here.

Best of luck with your project, I agree, it is difficult here if you want to put anything non-standard into a car.

Please do share your restoration with us.
