This is my first post in this forum. I am a member in Rennlist forum (Porsche owners), but I bought XK8 2002 to my spouse last summer and now S-Type R 2003 for myself. I often by-pass pricey official service and use my own mechanic, sourcing all parts myself. So, I feel that this forum is right place to be in.



My garage gars what I have selected, hand-picked and basically servicing:

2002 Jaguar XK8, racing green, beige leather (My spouse's wheels)
2003 Jaguar S-Type R, black, black leather wiht red racing seats (my everyday commuter)
1994 Porsche Carrera 911/339 TPC (supercharged), grand prix white (thats really bad car!)
2003 BMW 745i, alpine grey (my everyday commuter, soon to be sold)
2002 Audi TT turbo cabriolet (my daughters car)

Hope, that I get good advice here to cope issues, every car enthusiast has to meet down the road...

welcome jaak, you cant be all that bad with a 7 and s type r , my dad was a porsche collector, pretty much only white cars also just sold his white over black RS not too long ago.

+1 on bmw's comments Jaak............car looks beautiful mate............get those rims sorted and maybe some fresh wheel centres to really show off those big *** calipers.......love the Jaguar decals on them too.

Yes, I was wondering the rims myself. Previous owner just loved to park too near to the kurbs... Still, car is extremely nice to drive, ride quality very good, up to BMW level (this was a compliment) and engine is so potent, pulling like a combination of benji-rope and electrical train....wheel center though are fine. It was raining when I took these shots and my cat was just wet and muddy.

 

Good news - Shouldn't cost too much too get them Mint like the rest of the car though

Sheesh, I really start to love this R-cat. After 1 week of driving. I was a bit worried about Ford/Lincoln platform, but Jag is really nice to drive. Very good balance between of sport, elegance and individuality. Small electrical problems also, but I hope, they are solvable...
