HI Ian here from Long Beach NY

I am originally from Manchester UK (Bramhall if anyone knows where that is) moved to the States in 1984 bought my dream car (2004 XKR convertible Black on Black) in 2007, at age 50 perfect time for a mid life crisis - as my wife says "glad you got a sports car and not a girlfriend".

4 years on and out of warranty I still luv my car! Since I owned the car I had a few things replaced under extended warranty and a couple of things that were not eg I had to replace the tubing and the fluid in the hydraulic roof, new shocks, brakes and brake rotors, the passenger seat one of the three motors. I have just under 50k miles on her right now and am trying to keep the coach work as good as poss, but I do not have a garage. I bought a carcraft cover when I got the car and that keeps everything including ice and snow off the car, but the stiching around the edges has completely gone now and I am thinking of buying another cover (my wife will not let me build a car port!

My business is internet related I am partner in a web design/hosting company and write software. I have already been reading alot in the forums and perhaps now will start to post a little too.

Is it true that only really cool people own Jags?
