Welcome to the forum Gary,

I can see you've already found the X300 tech section so no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues. Your question about the security module really needs a new thread as the one you've posted to is specifically about remapping the ECU.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-68/ to find other members in this country.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Welcome to this friendly Forum, Gary.
I've moved your post to its own thread - it would be lost where you put it.
