Hi ... new to this web site
Hi all
I'm from Los Angeles California and glad to meet you all.
I'm new to this web site and eager to talk about XJS's. I've owned two 1985 XJS's for about 8 yrs. ( one was garaged for a while but $25K later it is now on the road again )
I see it this way: With the economy being what it is and fear of the dollar being worthless, I invested in more than gold and completely overhauled one of my cats ... I totally rebuilt the engine and back axle .
The result is a very powerful, smooth drive.
However, I wrote a post explaining that to my horror the needle still creeps between N and H on hot days, especially if I use the AC.
This is a slight worry since I essentially have a beautiful and timeless car that should be good for another 100K plus miles.
Anyway, this is a brief intro of myself and my two felines. Look forward to posting and thanx for any feedback you might have

Hello Rudy and welcome to jaguarforums.com.
If you haven’t already you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for. To do this go to, User CP, Edit Signature, Add Vehicle Details and such and Save Your Signature.
Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.
Also, should you have questions related to your vehicle please post it in the section for your model year (MY) car. This way you will reach all the members that are familiar with your MY car.
