Hi from New Zealand
Hi everybody, new member here, new to the forum and new to Jags in general. I have been lurking around in the background here for a few weeks, doing a lot of research, and at the weekend bought my first Jag, 2002 XKR 100. It as usual has a few "issues" that I will be working my way through over the next wee while, first being I asked the x owner where the valve adapter was for the BBS wheels, only to get a blank stare in return, god only knows how they inflated the new front tyres on it, or checked pressures in general. anyway, thanks to all for all the great information I have gotten from this site already, and looking forward to a lot more! Thank you all!

Hello, Jim,
Congratulations on your First Jaguar!
It is Astonishing, isn't it, how Little some owners know (or care) about their cars!
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

You're right there, I've just found the spare wheel doesn't fit the car!
Belated welcome Jimbo. Jump into the forums and learn as much as possible. It's all FREE!
Great choice for a first Jag, and we would love a dollar for each missing ignition and valet key, missing radio code, missing owner manual, and yes . . . stranger than fiction, every missing BBS adapter. Good advice to hit your member profile (top right) to edit your signature so all your future posts carry relevant model, year, engine etc so advice is accurate.
Cheers,

Hi Ken, thanks for the belated welcome. A belated welcome is much better than no welcome at all!
I have just sussed out what the spare wheel that came with the car fits, a Porsche Cayenne. Yep, that sounds perfectly interchangeable with an XKR.....right?

Hahaha Jimbo. You got me with the Porsche Cayenne spare . . . and I love the black on black on black on black.
Thank heavens you have silver wheels, or you would be invisible at night!
Our private import '04 XK8 has ex-factory upgrades. BBS 20x9 up front and 20x10 at rear. Buying tyres in pairs doesn't make them any cheaper!
Your XKR looks a really smart find. You will find excellent technical advice on the XK8 Forum and I am aware you have like minded X100 Kiwi owners, so I suggest you post in the NZ Region forum as well.
Cheers,

Hi Ken, yep I wish the Porsche spare was a joke, but it's not. I'm trying to source the correct one, would be great if I can do a swap. Where is your car imported from? Mine is a Japanese import, so zero rust anywhere on the car, have stuck a camera in many places, all looks good, very happy about that.
That would be great mate. My wheels are the same size as yours as it came with the Brembo brakes, so I think only the red space saver will fit. Thanks mate...jim.b.
