I have been driving a 2001 XK8 for about 6-7 months now and I Love It! I purchased her from a friend who bought it with 19k miles on it in 2003. Thanks in advance for all the help I'm sure this forum will be to me I used the Mercedes Forum for my last convertible which was a 2001 500SL and my current 2003 ML500.,,., Thanks Chris G

I can see you have already found your way to the XK8/XKR tech section with the transmission issue so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
