Eric here. I live in the Dallas Fort Worth area. My current Jaguar ride is a '64 E-type FHC, which just came out of a 12 year rotisserie rebuild. I bought the car 34 years ago and immediately took it apart. Finally got around to the restoration in 2007. Anyway, I somehow grew old in these 34 years and have difficulty with entry and egress from the tiny cockpit. So the E-type will likely go up for sale in the Fall. In the interim, I'm searching around for a top quality 96-97 XJR6, or a 2002-2003 XJR V8...something I can get in and out of, but with a little panache. I've been wanting to PM some members about parts, etc, but am waiting on the probationary period.
Thought I'd post another photo of my E-type (couldn't figure out how to add it to first post with an edit...(and this ups my pre-qualification count). I wonder if it would count if I just keep posting photos....
(I've merged your two separate Intro threads. This doesn't affect your post count.)
Your E-Type looks superb. I had one in my twenties but it had to go with family requirement for a four seater. Thought I'd get another in my forties and on a test drive, wondered how I ever used to jump in and out so easily. The XK8 and XK don't require such athleticism!

Welcome neighbor. Seems a shame to only get to enjoy it a few months after such a long wait but I've heard the same sort of story a few times when my Corvette friends show up in the spring with a new C7. I ask what happened to the C2 and they talk about their hip replacement, knee replacement, etc. and that a new one with a warranty was suddenly appealing. Whole bunch of car shows around the metroplex today and throughout the summer. Hope to get to see it before you let it go.
Hello, Eric,
Your car looks nothing sort of Wonderful! You should have No trouble selling it when the time comes, especially considering all the time, work and undoubtedly money has gone into restoration. We have members here who would give body parts to own such a car.
