Hi, my name is Robert and I...wait, this feels like the first night at an AA meeting...(not that I would know anything about those )...ok, moving on.

I am joining from Birmingham, AL. Stumbled upon the forum through a thread resulting from a web search concerning a XK to DB9 body conversion. Oddly enough several members had quite a bit of input, so I thought I would join.

I have owned 7 Jaguars in the past several years and currently have an 06 X-Type, an 04 S-Type, and an 03 XK8 (currently sitting on my frame machine.)

Before anyone asks, yes, I own a custom shop, and yes I rebuild cars including Jaguars, and no, I did not join to for business. See, no gratuitous links to my website.

Anyway, thanks for creating such an awesome forum and I look forward to becoming an active member.

I recall that XK to DB9 conversion getting very mixed reviews around here!

Sounds like you've already found your way around so I won't give links to the sections.

Those the Jaguars are your own? If so, remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

 

I would love to upload a few pics of projects and my various vehicles...but I seem to only have an option to select pics from a URL to add into a post...
