Howdy, before I get scolded.
Been a member for over a week now. Even before I got my car. I had a local dealer buy it and truck it in. They got the other dealer to cut the price enough for me to get it for the asking price from the other dealer. The local dealer got enough to pay them for the trouble. Worked out pretty good for all. It's a Lunar Grey Metallic with a Jet/Ivory interior. If I'm not mistaken. I would have preferred Rhodium Silver but you take the best you can find. If there is a respray in it's future it may become Rhodium Silver. I tried to match my Corvette a silver with charcoal interior, but it was not to be.
I'm starting to get older now and slowing down so I don't drive the sports cars much anymore. I'm more into sporty luxury now. I wanted a V8 because I don't consider a 6 cyl. very sporty. A V-12 now, that's pretty sporty. A cousin of mine just passed with a 12 cyl. E-Type in his garage. He preferred Cadillacs and full size conversion vans for daily drivers but refused to let go of his Jag. If he saw this one, he might have passed on the 300M. At any rate he inspired me to reach out and grab one for myself. You only live once so you might as well splurge once in a while.

Lol. I'll go back to Hawaii in a heartbeat, but I didn't leave anything important in Alaska.
We almost smacked into the water landing on an island in the Aleutian chain. We fell through the cloud layer at about 50 feet and stopped falling at about 20 feet of altitude. We got out of there and went back to Anchorage. The next day the air was more stable..After that I had a lovely time. Rain everyday with a constant wind about 30 knots. I don't think I ever dried out until I left. I did see the sun once. A wonderful Aleutian summer.
