Default Howdy from Texas!

I've been lurking here for several months, finally found and purchased my XKR in October and decided it might be time now for an introduction.

She is a 2010, been around the block a few times (93k miles), BUT according to CarFax she was previously sold as a Jaguar CPO twice and showed a very thorough service record. She looks clean as can be and drives like a dream. It was love at first sight - I'm sure you folks can relate.

I do most of my own wrenching so I've been busy thru the holidays taking care of a few maintenance items - trans pan/filter swap with dump and fill, e-diff fluid change, replaced a leaking heater hose ($76 dollars for an 8" hose? Damn!), rebuilt the leaking vacuum pump housing. And a couple of coats of wax, of course!

I love this car! My previous toys have been Corvettes, several BMWs, miscellaneous others, but I think this Jag is the best of the lot.

Many thanks to all here who've shared their technical know-how and experiences.

Hello, Dave,
Yes, Many of us here (if not Most) totally understand falling in love with a Jag at first sight.
And, 93000 miles is just now well broken in and loosened up for a modern engine.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
