Default Hurted Cat

Hi everybody,

writing from Italy, with a hurted cat in box

I have an XK8 4.0 coupè, 1999, with blowed engine, due probably to chain tensioner.

Now, what do you suggest to me ? Here in Italy is not like you there in UK, there are official dealers and no specialized people tha work on a Jag engine.

Jaguar dealer want 9000 euros for a new engine (new or reconditiioned? this I don0t know), but I don't know how could cost to recondition my blowed engine, any suggestion?

I am also searching there in Uk someone that sell reconditioned engines for Jag, anyone could suggest me one or more ?

Tanx a lot for anyone would read and answer to me

Jag

Hello, Bienvenuto
So, did you contact Jaguar Monza ?
And also , this is totally off topic but I have to ask this if you know .So, why are there o' in certain surnames ?
I mean why it's Anna Billo' , not Anna Billo . Does " ' " makes any difference ?

Tanx a lot to all of you, I looked to some of the link tha you suggested me and there are some interesting.

Jaguar Monza is too far from me, about 300 km I have an official dealer at about 25 km but here in Italy official dealers are very very expensive.

about the surname, what can I say to you. If the surname is Billo' it's not the same of Billo but just for the accent. I mean that it is not the same family.

It is strange I know but life is trange hehehe....

Tanx a lot again

Jag
