Default I have a cat, a beautiful cat.

Hi from north Texas! I just purchased my first Jaguar this past Friday. A 2008 porcelain XJ VDP. Beautiful, inside and out.

It's quite a step up from my little 'ole Ford Ranger pickup truck (which I kept, always need a pickup in Texas).

So far, so good. Love driving it and the classic look. It has just about everything you can think of. I'll post some pictures soon.

It's a nice car, isn't it ? I have had mine 12 months and have put 13k on it, but still only 43k since 2003.

There are one or two issues but generally I am very pleased with mine, and it cost SO LITTLE !! (second hand prices are very good in the UK right now, it must be the cost of petrol here in England - try $9.60 a gallon !!

Welcome to the forum

Tom, welcome to the forum. I love my big XJ beastie. One question. What's your interior color? Porcelain could go with lots of interior colors.

Welcome tocaticus. Judging by the number of members here from Texas, a pick and a Jag are starting to be always needed there.

Thanks for all the encouraging and welcoming words. I appreciate it. This site has already been extremely useful, and I am just getting into it!

It's two tone with Ivory and Mocha. I just set up my "garage" and posted some pictures to show it off.
