Good Afternoon from the Racing Capital of the World :)
Hi Everyone!
My name is Nathan, and I've been trolling this forum long enough, so it's time to crawl out from under the guise of darkness and introduce myself.
I live downtown Indianapolis, and about a year ago purchased a 1990 XJ-S coupe from a young man in Louisville. I had owned a 1975 BRG XJ6-C in highschool (sadly sold many moons ago), and after some time, couldn't pass up this glorious JRG XJ-S coupe w/ Barley hide I now own. His name is Toynbee, he has 161,000 miles. I was leary of the mileage, but that's proven to be no problem. Thusfar I've slowly worked from front to back, outside to in restoring all deferments and breathing life back into this tired, but vibrant cat. The results have been stunning to say the least, and the atmosphere is back in his lungs. I'll update with the hundreds of details and post pics soon. If it weren't for all the dedicated posters here, this project would have died a long time ago. So a much belated thanks!
That said, I've got to run now. Rebuilding the rear suspension (shocks and radius arms more specifically), and it's a lovely nightmare. I'll be begging for information very shortly...
Cheers to all!

Hello, Nathan, (and Toynbee)
Yours is one of the few I know of with a boy's name. I'm sure it fits him very well.
You have obviously been lurking in our XJS section for quite some time, so you are already aware that those guys know Everything there is to know about those cars!
So, I'll just say, Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum Nathan,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
It sounds like you've already found your way to the XJS tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the USA Mid West Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/usa-mid-west-il-ia-mi-mn-mo-oh-wi-39/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
