Default Insert Standard Introduction here

Hello Everyone,

Did the Formal thing and joined, this forum has already been a HUGE Help.

I am from the UK Originally - Preston to be exact, - but now Live in Grapevine, Texas - been in the US 15 years - when I lived in the UK it was Fiats - but over the past 7 years it has been Jags - think you have to have something British, well maybe its me.

In the past I had a 93 XJ40, right now I have a

97 - XJ6 - X300
05 - XJ8 - X350 - Just picked this up for a steal and had the suspension converted, VERY Happy.

and last but no means least a 00 XK8, which I am in the middle of recommissioning - that is where the forum has been of huge assistance. I tend the wrench myself - I know enough to be dangerous - but know when to hand it off to an expert too (I think!)

When I am not doing this, I am a Technical Trainer

As you can see I am a glutton for punishment - I will try and contribute where I can.

Any questions feel free to ask - glad to be here!

Welcome to the forum txbrit,

Good to have you with us.
It sounds like you have found the tech sections already so I won't add any links.
Post up some pics of the cars when you can.

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Welcome to the forum txbrit,

You had to emigrate to buy a Jaguar? Some strange people come from Lancashire!

Good to hear you've found useful information here. I expect that means you've already found the XK8 section but if not, follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum for help and advice.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Thanks for the Welcome

Norri - I am English - hope you don't hold it against me ;-)

GGG - lol - it is strange but I think once you have moved abroad you do show a little more allegiance to the home country, well either that or you don't appreciate what is there until its not as easily available. Indeed I have found the XK8 section, already saved me $$$$$$$$

Sig now set up - see below.....

Would be delighted to upload pictures, right now I don't have the privileges to do so, I imagine I will have to wait till I hit 10 posts, not a problem, just confirming before I go off and write 8 posts about how Postman Pat would be more efficient in a XJR.......

Tell me about it. Have you seen Norri today?

"Watch out there's the Police"

I worked in Paisley for a year in 1993 - and survived to tell the tale, including when England lost to the US at Football (or soccer as they say over here) and came in to Entire Factory Floor singing "Born in the USA"

Well I got in quick enough to upload 2 cars need some good ones of the 3rd.
