Interested In Purchasing A 2003 Jaguar Xtype or Stype... Would Appreciate Insight!

I currently drive a '99 Ford Taurus that is about to kick the bucket lol. Interested in a used 2003 Xtype/Stype. Not sure which to go with. I plan to get a used one with around 50k miles... under $15,000. Could use some suggestions on part prices. Very interested in modifications and detailing; sports package enthusiast. Please give me any feedback you could. Thank you in advance.

S Type is more upscale car than X Type but I like X Type a lot even though I don't own one .

I've never been an X-Type fan. While I won't go as far as many and say "not a real Jag" it just strikes me as a small, wanna be XJ. Many people don't like the S-Type's styling, but I think they look pretty nice, so my choice here would be S-Type. I'd still go for a used XJ over both of them if I needed a 4 door though
