Hi all. I'm a longtime lurker, and Jag owner for almost 2 years.
I started off by purchasing a 2003 X-Type from a local used car dealer Summer of 2015. I had never given an import the time of day before that - but I had just found out my girlfriend was pregnant. I sold my racecar parts and set aside looking for an economical four door sedan, pref. with AWD for the icey Midwest winters. AWD, 67,000 miles, and heated seats with an economical aluminum 3.0 was enough to catch my interest. All black and under $5,200 with service records. I was in love.
Then one dark, dark night in a hurry to get to work my fiance crashed it into a SUV parked down the street. Nobody was hurt, except my car. Which was totaled. F$%K!
I had to have another, but I couldn't find one.
So I upgraded.
As of October 28th, I'm the proud owner of an immaculate 73,000 mile S-Type R in Ebony/Ebony. Mina Gallery Intake Elbow and Eurotoys 2.5lb pulley already in the mail. Magnaflow 30's, high-flow cats and 3" exhaust ready for install as well.
Looking at the Quaife LSD, how much should I expect for an install from my local speed shop?
Where's the link to this AVos Twin-screw as well? I'm weighing cost to benefit of a 75-wetshot of N20 vs. Twin-screw supercharger for my intended use of weekend racer. All after methanol/water injection of course.
Edit: Also, EuroToys suggests an Iridium sparkplug for a "full" performance tuneup. Has anyone noticed a difference between OEM and Iridium in applications under 650HP?
