Intro
Greetings all. My name is Tom H. and I live in Delray Beach, Florida. I recently purchased a 2003 X-Type AWD with 152,000 miles on it. Needs some body work but got it at a good price. I'm a little nervous about it because while it's a great looking car, some of the reviews have been great - some, not so great. I expect to put some money into a used car. I won't be putting a lot of miles on it (under 10,000 per hear) and have always wanted an X-Type. I love working on cars myself and wish I had more knowledge and space to do that. By profession I am in broadcasting, producing and hosting my own radio show in West Palm Beach. I also have been in broadcast sales. I'm originally from New York City and moved down to Florida in 2001 - lifestyle change. Gave it 4 weeks and stayed 16 years. I look forward to your help in turning this X-Type into a classic. Thanks!

I can see you've found your way to the X-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
