Intro
Howdy, I am TexRoddy from Dallas TX and I just purchased a 1999 Jag XK8 convertible black with charcoal interior. Mileage is 74000 and I hope to use it sparingly when I can have the top down. Hopefully, I have not violated any rules for a newbie.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

74,000 miles is just loosened up. You should get many Tens of Thousands more miles from your car!
