Smile Introduce Myself

I just found this site while I was searching for some information on my car.

I am the proud owner of a 2003 XJR with the CATS/Brembo/BBS options. Its BRG with a tan interior and its just a great car. It never fails to impress me every time I take it out. The car rides and handles extremely well and really hauls when you press the loud pedal.

I have never seen another one like it, but when I bought it the salesmanager at the dealership told me that there was only 1 other in B.C..

I am not normally somebody who goes to meets, but I may have my arm twisted to come out and visit with you guys at a low key event. If I could figure out how to attach pics, I would.

Regards,

Eric

Cheery group.

I guess the Jag membership is a bit weak around Toronto.

welcome 23, I shifted your intro thread over to the New Member area, as not many subscribe to the regional sections.

We've got some canadians around, don't worry...you're among friends and countryman.

Enjoy the forums!

Welcome 23. Kinda cool to have a fairly unique Cat, isn't it?

Talking

This is better. Makes me feel all kinda warm and cozy inside, .

Seriously, thanks a lot. The car is pretty rare and while everything is working extremely wll right now and I still have an extended warranty for another 2 years, its good to have a group to come to with the questions that are sure to arise.

I love the car as it is a perfect blend of power, handling, braking and style. Even though its almost 8 years old now it still gets preferred parking at restaurants and hotels.

Anybody have a good source for the front and rear rotors? The ones I have are still okay, but I can see some wear and its only a matter of time. The ones I have priced are over $900 CDN per pair and it may be cheaper to get a custom set of hats machined and go to replaceable Brembo disks. I have 2 other race cars so I tend to look at things from a fab side when its the btter option.

Its good to be able to discuss issues with more knowledgable peopl..

Welcome to the Forum 23racer, sorry I didn't catch your post over in the regional section. It is mainly used to arrange meets.

(note, slapping myself on the wrists).

So do we get to see a pic or two?

Have fun.

Hi there 23racer! I didn't catch you over in the other part of the forum either!

You can play some catch up by reading up on the Any Toronto Area Meets thread here as well as the Jaguar Events!! thread. JustV12 and myself have been trying to get a regular Toronto area meet going and we'd love for you to join us!

Welcome aboard and great car you have there, IMHO!

Search the forum for brembo rotors, I believe there are several threads regarding your exact question regarding aftermarket parts for your brembo's.
