Default An introduction

Hi,

I've just joined so wanted to introduce myself. The name's James. I'm English, 31 years old, accountant. I've owned two Jags before now - an X-type (I know, not a 'real' Jag, but I really enjoyed it) and a 1996 XJ6 which was always an event to drive, I loved it.
Currently living in Singapore but I will move back to Amsterdam with a year or so whereupon I will buy my third Jag: either an XKR or an XJR (4.2 litre models).

My friends give me a bit of stick for driving Jags as they are usually driven my gentlemen slightly older than myself, however I don't care as they have so much more presence and character, in my view, than your very capable but perfectly soulless German saloon.

Exactly, James, Presence and Character, not to forget Soul!
This is why we ALL drive Jaguars.

Welcome to the forum James,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

The XJR's have plenty of soul but if you don't need a four door car, the XKR is a wonderful choice
.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
