Default Introduction

Hello all, my name is Ben and I'm 17. I'm coming from the Porsche section of the Pelican forums. I recently purchased my '88 xj40 for peanuts and have been commencing the modifications since then.

The car is a dark red with a gold pinstripe and tan leather, with a sunroof.

Modifications both performed and in progress are limited thus far, but ever growing.

- rear suspension converted to coilovers
- 16x8.5 Corvette salad shooters on stretched tires
- Mina gallery C.A.I. On its way
- front springs either cut, or replaced with lowering springs.

I have a few questions however.

1) the cluster has a lot going on- apparently it was replaced, but it doesn't seem to work well. Oil pressure intermittently reads 0 for roughly 15 minutes at a time. Obviously I'm not at 0 psi, because the motor keeps on purring.
Abs/brake pad/brake pressure/ bulb failure lights are constantly flashing. All of those things work though, and the pads are rather new. Also, the speedo is roughly 10 mph over.

Looking forward to making connections on the forums.

Welcome to this friendly Forum.
You probably need to downsize your sig pic with Picassa or similar -the maximum size is only 5.8 kb.
We don't like 'For Sale' posts without joining in (requirement is ten posts) but since you took the trouble to post an intro I'll look the other way for a bit !!

Oh okay I'll try that out.

Sorry about that, it's just that these wheels are taking up quite a bit of space in my room
