Default Ecoboost Jag S-Type

Hello Gentlemen,

My name is Steve and I have purchased a 2001 Jag S-Type to build into a 10 second street car. I have the Ford Ecoboost 3.5L v6 engine from a Ford Taurus SHO which I imported into Australia from USA which will have a pair of GT3071r turbos fitted on custom manifolds and switched to north/south configuration for RWD. I have not set a timeline for this project as I'm close to achieving my goal of a 9 sec street car in my Datsun 120Y with a 10.41. So I'm just enjoying driving the Jag until I'm finished with the Datto.

Cheers mate I will, I can't see it being harder than fitting a Nissan RB30/26 to a Datsun B210.

Welcome to the forum Steve,

That's some challenge you've set yourself.

While the S-Type remains standard, follow this link S-Type / S type R Supercharged V8 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the S-Type section for help, advice and information. Once the project gets underway, the 'Other Jaguar Models' Other Jaguar Models / Concepts / Replicas - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum section is the place to start a thread to record progress.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You may also like to visit the Australia / New Zealand Region section by following this link Australia / New Zealand - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your part of the World.

Good luck and enjoy the forum.

Graham

Hi Rick, I will take heaps of pics and document the parts used for you guys. I know there will be nothing like this here in Australia. My Datsun is also a one off build with no one willing to copy the project.

Thanks again for the welcome.
